DOT DRESS

For me Sunday is always the day for me to indulge in my own pradise, may it be studying recipes and baking cookies, or trying out dresses and taking photos. Last Sunday I was more in the mood to shooting photos, so I go prepared and went downstaires just to realise the rain was too big that it's better to stay indoor, so there was this small area between my building the road, and they planted so many trees in this area, so why not just take the photo here, maybe it could look good too. Indeed it turned out so good, the light was so bright reflecting into the photos and they are so flattering for my skin, and I had so many photos I like, normally I just post 6 photos in each post, this time it was too difficult to choose, since I love all of them.And the minute I posted my photos in my other sns app, my friends started to ask me where I got this dress, it was from a big outlet on our way back from Antalya to Eskisehir, I forgot the name of the brand, but everything they made was so cute and has the next-door girl feel.

WHITE DRESS

LOOSE CHIC

I'm not sure if you have noticed that I seldom post any pants outfit, it's not only because dresses are sexier and prettier, but also, I don't think pants are very flattering for my legs, also it is  hot to wear.So I have very few pants, say less than 5pieces, even in winter times I'd rather choose boots and leggings over pants, and this is the pants I bought so long ago from university and as far as i can remember I only wore it three or four times, tho its quite cool for summer, and that Sunday it was not so hot, plus just a few raindrops, I thought, why not? So loose comfy pants with a tight top, it has the kinda laid-back feel which is I need. 

HIGH SCHOOL STYLE

Whenever I take all my kit and shoot photos somewhere, either in a park or near the sea, or just simply downstairs, there are always new people being attracted to the things I do, some of them ask if I need help, some of them make fun by standing in front of my camera, some of them just keep staring at me, how I adjust my camera, how I pose and How I smile to the camera, they must find me so strangely happy, I seem so fearless in front of the strangers and the camera, I appear as if nothing matters except the things I am working on. Honestly I could not care less about how these passers-by think about me, but when they actually stopped and came to talk with me,I almost always am happy to reply. So after starting my shooting some ten minutes later that Saturday afternoon, this little girl who is about five or six years old stood there with her grandfather and her little younger sister in the stroller, she watched me for about ten minutes during which her grandpa kept asking her to leave)still she was there, so focused, and didn't even say a thing, then she asked me is it fun to take photos, and told me she also wanted to try and pose, and i took some photos for her,and she proudly told me her name and where she lived(just two floors above mine) and if i can send her the photo i took. It happened so fast I didn't even realize how confident this little girl is and how it is difficult to refuse a sincere request. But it was one of the few moments I enjoy people's attention more than the photo shooting itself.

LACE SKIRT

I gave up lace long time a ago because I cant be bothered to wear pieces that are too girly and fussy,  the simpler the fabric the better for me. As I have bought too many single color pieces, it occured to me that maybe trying something more old-fashioned can be like a breath of fresh new air, and I found this knee-length skirt from another small shop and took the inspiration from Carrie's outfit in the movie of sex and the city 2, of course the dress is even fussier than I remember it to be(when I checked the photo today),  seeing this movie in Sydney, I recall vividly that I was amazed by the way the costume designer combines a sporty top with a fussy skirt, together with an exotic bag, but just a reminder for those of you who have not been to any of the middle east countries(Turkey excluded),I can assure you wearing this kind of outfit requires some sort of escorting, because it will attract too many unnecessary attentions. Luckily for me, posing downstairs with my red lips and this lace skirt have not yet bring anything more than a few curious looks.

SNOW

It looks like Japan, right? At least it does for me, whenever I see this series of photos it reminded me of my trip to Japan two years ago, all these white and even pink-looking snow, with the sunset beautifully interfacing the mountain line and every element in the air. But, it was in Turkey, I remember I was playing with my colleagues in the snow, we were snowing fighting, posing the snow and sipping coffee while watching the firtina(snowstorm in turkish) from indoor,but if memory fails to serve right, I may just confuse Turkey with Japan,my smile was similar, the leave didn't look all that different and most importantly the snow remained equally pure, so I conclude: at the end of the day, what we all remember about the past is the not the specific place or scenery but our mood and emotion at that moment.

CLASSIC

I cannot believe I have totally forgotten to post this set of photos which were taken in the beautiful Maldives, also my other set of photos in the snowy Turkey. I promise I will, for the next few days, share with you this old memories. Nobody actually wears this kind of party dress to the island, I brought it simply because I want to see how it looks like with the background of pure blue, turns out they look good together. And all of them were taken with a phone insead of my DSLR, the only thing I regret is that I should have swum in this dress, or am I too crazy for saying that?:p

GREY SKIRT

My over-packed daily schedule has left me very limited time to shoot photos and post here, though I have not forgotten how much fun I get from posing and editing photos, much as my passion for leaning French lingers, I tried to write my post in French(not like anyone will read i know haha),I could not help but feel like a 10-year-old girl who tries to write the first few essays in school:)So for this post I changed the language back to English again. Suddenly I feel I'm in my 30s with all that experience and sophistication, back to this outfit,  it has the sort of high school vibe due to the color of the skirt and the shape of the shirt, and it makes me feel very comfortable, not necessarily special, but very cosy and laid-back.I got this pair of Tory Burch flats from city of dreams, i think it can go better with jeans and shirt, but this humid macau summer has prevented me from wearing anything of the kind. The top and skirt are from ZARA again, easy to wear, good price and versatile as always;)

LA BLANCHE DE L'ÉTÉ

Les photos ici sont prises dans le chemin pres de mon appartement,il ne fait pas tres chaud ce matin la, et il n'y a pas trop de gens, comme d'habitude, j'ai pose,ri et me suis amusee . Par hasard j'ai rencontre une nouvelle fille tres interessant qui, etait en train de marcher avec son chien,  plus tard dans la journee, elle m'a invite a un bbq sur la terrasse de un de ses amis et la vue etait tres belle, j'ai rencontre beaucoup de gens qui habitent ici dans le meme quartier et ils viennent de pays differents. C'etait une bonne journee.:)

LA JUPE ROUGE

Salut tout le monde, ca va? c'est la premiere fois que j'ecris mon blog en francais. je sais que je vais commettre beaucoup d'erreurs mais cette fois-ci je vais ecrire comme ca. Je trouve la jupe et les talons hauts dans zara a  macau et le top est vintage. Il y a 2 mois je n'ecris pas ici, parce que tous les jours j'ai beaucoup de choses a faire, mon travail de la traduction, la classe de portugais, et autre choses.Mais ce matin je sortais et ca me fait plaisir de prendre ces photos. BABY BLUE

Hey sweeties! Happy Monday, what a weekend it has been! Two of my best friends came to Macau to visit me and we had such a great time food hunting, taking photos, shopping and manicure, just all these girls stuff. These photos were taken in mgm, where  I took my relatives last year, the food was almost the same, if memories serve me, though hanging out with my peers could be more fun. So seen from my outfit,Im sure you can guess that summer has came to town, and I was wearing my baby blue shorts and the yellow tank top, plus a anti-sunlight cardigan, the whole combo makes me feel less full after eating so much in a buffet, and I'm sure my pose doesn't show how much i ate that day.:)

YELLOW TANK

This set of photos were taken in Antalya Turkey(yeah, i know i know, its has been four months since i came back, still some unshared photos:P), when we first arrived there we tried to search places nearby that has a good view of the sea so we followed the lane and besides many bars along the road we also found a park, then many stairs leading the park to the sea, there were enthusiastic locals trying to give you suggestion about where to dine, young  people swimming, also tourists like us who were enjoying the sunset.

 So I have been bit lazy with blogging these few weeks, since I just moved to a new apartment and have spent my time decorating my place and practicing cooking, and I cant wait to invite my friends to my place for a lovely summer night BBQ, these photos were shot by my dear mum, as we sat in the car and watched these beautiful flowers dancing with the wind, we cant resist the temptation of taking a stop and enjoy the art of the nature. So here they are, photos from two days ago shoot by the bank of qianshan river.

ASKIMDAN GELEN CICEKLER

Much as I dislike the humid and rainy spring of Macau, it sometimes surprises me with such bright sunlight and gentle breeze. I was not planning on shooting photos that day, after seeing this beautiful day in the morning, I took all my kit and shoot these photos after lunch in the small park in front of my office building, for those of you in Macau it is called parque Dr. Carlos d"Assumpcao (宋玉生公园), I love the shadows of the new trees casting behind me and the leaves falling freely on the surface of the small waterway, and of course my flowers from my dearest darling. When I received this bouquet, the vibrant color and the delicate note have succeeded in making my day once again, just like all these other times. Thank you Askimmmm.

TED BAKER DRESS/ZARA HEELS/KELLY KING SMILE

Hey everyone！This is a humid hello from our infamous Macau spring weather(talk about neither summer dress-friendly nor winter coat-friendly, i guess they name spring for a reason) .Though my smile doesn't reflect how much i loath The spring, i'm sure you guys can sympathize with me if you actually live in the HK/Macau region in spring time. And despite my efforts trying to focus this blog on fashion and beauty, my thoughts keep wandering to topics more than that(it doesn't show yet, i know),however, the status quo left me very limited time to blog and i had to squeeze 1-1.5hours to shoot the photo between the time I finished our annual peers review meeting(pretty lame,huh?) and my dinner last Saturday, talk about conscientious narcissist, no one beats me,but hey, did i forget to insert the word classy before the n word? The one who'd actually carry a tripod and all kits necessary(three lenses and a DSLR heavier than a 8-pound dumbbell) for shooting, and spent even more time editing and writing,i'm sure you notice the differences between a vulgar selfie( did i just say the word vulgar) and a classy one.Now i see how overworked people can be verbally bitter or creative in that sense. 

ANTALYA SAILING

The reason I seldom wear red is because wearing this bold color requires me to feel exciting and the color of the background must go with it.Yes, I know it sounds so picky but casually wearing red with clothes of any color will ruin the whole outfit. So that day I went to the Antalya riviera with my colleagues for the Kurban Bayrami holiday in Turkey, the sun was shining, and the beautiful sunlight simmering in the surface of the deep crystal blue sea, it so happened to go great with my red outfit that day,so here I am, feeling quite exciting in  the red dress, beautiful sunlight,and the cute sailing boat,the only thing I am not sure was whether it was the outfit makes me feel so or I felt so that I chose this dress.

DREAMY

CHIFFON

This chiffon tank dress has the light color, though I wouldn't recommend you take it to the beach as the color is too similar to that of the ocean and the high exposure makes it difficult for you to tell the difference(both in camera and in person ).But the fabric feels so light and cool under this 30 degree weather, I wore it to the beach barbecue, the spa and wander in our ocean villa. The front-short and back-long asymmetrical design is what makes it different from other cliche beach maxi dresses, you could pull off both an elegant classy chic and a hot party girl:)

PINKY

This set of photos were shot the day before I left my resort and we decided to make full use of that morning-noon light , mum and I walked and posed along the  beach behind our villa, I guess everyone else was sleeping or snorkeling so we got the complete empty beach, there were only some solider crabs and fish with us and it wouldn't`t feel more free and natural.I have wore this white top in this post, however, with the pinky color cardigan and mini skirt I seem to look even more high-schooled, and I'm happy that I got the chance to wear stuff I don't usually wear in my daily life. I jumped, laughed, posed and felt happy. 

LAVENDER

yes i know it has been forever since i last updated my blog and since i was sent to turkey and based in so small a town that everything my blog needs became difficult to achieve, the scenery, the colorful outfit and most importantly my mood.But here I am, came back to Macau the beginning of January and after my trips to Maldives and my hometown for CNY, finally I can breathe the Macau air and got some time to update my blog. Though I am still quite busy with my main job, fashion blogging is something I feel passionate about and dont want to give up at the moment so I will restart now and continuously share some photos(aka 200 or more:p) with all of you who are also interested in fashion or me in that case?haha.
This series of photos with the lavenda color palette was shot in Dusit Thani resort in Maldives, by my talented and passionate mum, yes, I know travelling to the honeymoon paradise with your mum sounds a little bit more than normal to most of you, but since my mum and I share a love for good food and photography(selfies included), so we make good company for each other. Though I'd honestly admit that she takes better photos than I do but my pose beats hers.I got this maxi dress from taobao and it goes great with the different levels of blue sea of the Indian ocean. Just like the way I felt there, calm, peaceful and elegant.
