MY FIRST TURKISH WEDDING

OUTFIT: ASOS TOP/VINTAGE SHORTS/PRADA SUNNIES
Hi guys, this is my fourth day in Turkey and I'm enjoying every minute. After a short and sweet stay in the small city named bozuyuk, we took a road trip to Istanbul for a colleague's wedding.  So we dressed up for this not-so-traditional outdoor Turkish wedding, there are ceremonies, dancings, photo shootings etc, it was held in an open area 20 minutes away from my favorite shopping paradise in Istanbul, the istinye park, where you see the high trees, enjoy the sunlight shining from above, since it's isolated, you can dance, drink and do whatever you like, it's a perfect spot for wedding. I have not met the newly-wed before but my colleagues took me there and we had a great time. It's not exactly my dreaming wedding style but compared with the dinner-oriented chinese style wedding, I'd say this one is more simple and elegant. So here are the photos.

MGM BRUNCH

OUTIFIT: ZARA DRESS/ASOS TOP/VINTAGE EARRINGS AND CLUTCH
As I just woke up from my ten-hour flight to Istanbul, there are still sometime before I arrive, why not make the most of it and spend it blogging? These photos were taken while my cousins came to Macau and visited me, that day I took them to MGM Rossio for brunch, we dined in the terrace where you get to see the new aquarium beautifully located in the center of the big hall, MGM promotes different themes every now and then, as with the brunch theme in Rossio. It was such a great family bonding time, when you get to enjoy the food and aquarium as well as the laughters.

SCHOOL TEACHER DRESS

OUTFIT: VINTAGE DRESS AND HEELS/REISS BELT
Got this dress from another antique shop in Beijing, at an extremely fair price and pair it with my school-teacher-like heels, one of my most frequent-wore dresses it is , the light fabric and classy print. Macau has been extremely hot and humid recently and since I have so many things going on right now at my hand,so I had to reduce the time for my photo shootings, but once I got to Turkey I hope that I could have more time to take photos and share with you guys.

RED

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TEE AND JEANS/DOONEY BOURKE BAG
Summer is never a season for red, in my opinion. Red is supposed to make you feel hot, and we don't really need that under this already hot and humid summer. However, when you choose your light fabric and light color for summer going-out, it's kinda boring to highlight your outfit with yet another light-color bag, so here I am, carrying this medium-sized red leather bag, it's much less heavier than other leather bags and yet adds some fun vibe to my outfit, which is  exactly what I believe in fashion: it's all about balance.

SARAR

OUTFIT: SARAR DRESS/NINE WEST HEELS
Sarar is one of my favourite Turkish brand for workwear, the cutting and simplicity are two most attractive features of this brand, I spotted this dress 3 years ago in Istanbul's Istinye park and was quite enchanted by its light blue color and back zip design, it's perfect for any formal occasions.  The small oil painting I was carrying was painted by me one year ago, I took the liberty of wanting to change it to a small clutch and just match it with my dress first, the colors look good together. And it has everything I want in a city, the financial center in HK, MOMA in the big apple, blue sky and colorful buildings. Coincidentally, while posting this outfit, I was told just two days ago that a project in Turkey is in need of my help so I will have to work there temporarily for four months. Of course I will keep blogging, it's just you might see different landscapes and backgrounds in my posts.:)

TERRACE OF MILITARY CLUB

OUTFIT:ZARA TOP/VINTAGE SHORTS/NINE WEST SANDALS
Another lovely place in Macau, this small terrace of the military club is yet another secret-garden sort of thing in Macau, last weekend I walked a bit to the back, which was very close to san Francisco garden, you can just sit there, feel the wind blowing, listening to some jazz and read your favourite column if the sun was not so bright, what's even better is that this place is only a few minutes away from where I live.
