MEDITERRANEAN SEA

OUTFIT: ASOS TOP/ADL SKIRT/VALENTINO HEELS
As I have been away for a few days you might have guessed right, the lovely manzara have been the beautiful Mediterranean sea.I am always a sea person more than a mountain one.Walking along the seaside, with the fresh wind blow, never-ending wide horizon of the blue, and misty mountain lines afar, I guarantee you all of your sorrows must go with the wind and the true tranquility stays. This time I tried cycling along the sea, with a little bit overdressing and red lipsticks, surely I felt different and odd at first, then you wouldn't imagine how great and adventurous it made me feel.Walking out of one's comfort zone and accept that you are different from others does wonders to build confidence and happiness.

SCHOOL CHECKERED

OUTFIT: E-LAND TOP/ADL DRESS/DERIMOD BOOTS
Long time no see! As it has been raining all along this week I hardly had any mood  to shoot any new outfits, finally when the weekend came the weather turned much better. And I had my first night out in the university town with my colleagues, two hours' driving and the freezing weather in town does not stop all these delikanli(young people) from partying, drinking and smoking water pipe till early morning. I guess Eskisehir will become one of my favourite cities in Turkey. And I managed to wake up at my usual time today, feeling super good so I asked Zhou to shoot these photos for me. I got my top in high school, and my super mum managed to keep this lovely top so new as my colleagues cannot believe it's almost 8 years old! And I'm so glad to be able to find really nice long boots in Turkey, without much effort as they have so many choices available with high quality. Have a great weekend guys!

These photos were shot almost two months ago and that was right before i know i need to come to Turkey, coincidentally and luckily my aunt and cousins decided to visit me in Macau just right before I left. So I took them to some of the must-see places and my favourite resaurants in town.It was not quite hot but still humid as a pot however we managed to enjoy ourselves. I almost forgot that I even wrote this, zaman cabuk geciyor, kesinlikle.

IZINIK LAKE

OUTFIT: ZARA JACKET AND TANK TOP/VINTAGE JEANS/PRADA SUNNIES
Hey everyone! It's been quite some time since my last blog entry because of my visa holiday. So I was lucky enough to spend this year's mid-autumn festival with my beloved family and get to see so many friends in both my hometown and Beijing. Again all these gatherings just made me realize how lucky I am to have them in my life. And surely i will blog about my vacation very soon. Today's post is about a day trip to Iznik, which was very pleasant because of the autumn weather and my companies. This was my second time to the lake, this time the weather was even better, what I enjoyed the most was the blowing wind in late afternoon over our lovely table by the lake, where we got to enjoy the reflected shining surface of the lake, which looked more like sea to me, as well as our lovely conversation. And we got to see this cute one-year-old baby picnicing with her parents, such a picturesque family outing. After some chitchatting and walking along the bank we went to our favourite kofteci in town and drove back after a day full of laughters, Turkish yummies and natural beauties. This kind of entertainment has given me more pleasure than bar hopping and other city adventures, maybe simplicity does work.

ALONG THE CREEK

OUTFIT: ZARA JACKET AND SHIRT/VINTAGE PANTS
On our way to the mountain yesterday I discovered yet another spot for photo shooting, which is the dried muddy path along the creek. While I was taking the photos Charlie and his friends were happily swimming in the creek. Sometimes when less is more has been a real part instead of just a saying in your daily life, you begin to treasure some really simple beauty of life, a loyal look from your dog, blowing wind in the afternoon, peaceful sunset and birds singing. You begin to rethink about all the things you once so want to own and grasp, they all seem so trivial by comparison to the gifts nature has offered us. You began to appreciate more, and your heart feels calmer. The space for desires of all kinds has been replaced by something else, something that is difficult to describe. All you know is that you feel good for no reasons when you wake up in the morning and when you go to sleep at night. I don't know how long this feeling might last but I'd sure enjoy it when it does.

SKY BLUE

OUTFİT:VINTAGE CARDIGAN/ZARA TEE/EP PANTS/PRADA SUNNIES
ABOVE ALL the other things I miss about Macau, blue sky is not one of them. Turkey has beautiful clear skies just like Macau, and the place I live is surrounded by so many mountains and several small rivers, which makes this place perfect for my photos' background. Since I'm based in a camp site right now, tailored business attire has been put aside and replaced with more versaitile casual jeans and tees.I shoot these photos after dinner where the sun began to sit peacefully in the hugs of the clear sky and gloomy mountains, also I'd like to ıntroduce you our lovely Charlie, he's four years old and follows us wherever we go. I'm not a dog person but since we have seven dogs two ducks and four chickens here somehow I have experienced the life after retirement and you have to try and make friends with them because sometimes they are the only thing that makes you feel fulfilled.:)

HELLO FROM OSMANELİ

OUTFIT:ZARA DRESS/JIMMY CHOO HEELS
Guilty as charged,it's been quite some time since my last blog entry as I have veen so overwhelmed with my new work enviroment colleagues and stuff. So two weeks flew in a second, I went to new places neaby, refreshed my memories with the Turkish cuisine, made a few new friends. So far everything has been good, but since I am based in a camp site near a small Turlish town called Osmaneli and it's not very walking-friendly, every time I feel like going out I have to ask for the driver's help:( It makes me realise how much freedom I enjoyed in Macau, you have natural scenery and luxury brands all within walking distance. But at least where I live now helps me realise how lucky I am. So yesterday I decided to shoot some photos right at the back of my dorm, where there are some flowers but the road is paved with all these tiny stones which is only boots-friendly,you could have imagined how difficult for me to walk in these choos and pose for me photos, so my smile might look a bit weird LOL.After the photo shooting we went out to one of the bigger cities nearby called Eskişehir. The city was all right, blue sky, beautiful garden, lovely small art center, fresh salad, shopping center, pretty much all I need to survive haha. I had a great day yesterday and see you soon on my next blog post.

MY FIRST TURKISH WEDDING

OUTFIT: ASOS TOP/VINTAGE SHORTS/PRADA SUNNIES
Hi guys, this is my fourth day in Turkey and I'm enjoying every minute. After a short and sweet stay in the small city named bozuyuk, we took a road trip to Istanbul for a colleague's wedding.  So we dressed up for this not-so-traditional outdoor Turkish wedding, there are ceremonies, dancings, photo shootings etc, it was held in an open area 20 minutes away from my favorite shopping paradise in Istanbul, the istinye park, where you see the high trees, enjoy the sunlight shining from above, since it's isolated, you can dance, drink and do whatever you like, it's a perfect spot for wedding. I have not met the newly-wed before but my colleagues took me there and we had a great time. It's not exactly my dreaming wedding style but compared with the dinner-oriented chinese style wedding, I'd say this one is more simple and elegant. So here are the photos.

MGM BRUNCH

OUTIFIT: ZARA DRESS/ASOS TOP/VINTAGE EARRINGS AND CLUTCH
As I just woke up from my ten-hour flight to Istanbul, there are still sometime before I arrive, why not make the most of it and spend it blogging? These photos were taken while my cousins came to Macau and visited me, that day I took them to MGM Rossio for brunch, we dined in the terrace where you get to see the new aquarium beautifully located in the center of the big hall, MGM promotes different themes every now and then, as with the brunch theme in Rossio. It was such a great family bonding time, when you get to enjoy the food and aquarium as well as the laughters.

SCHOOL TEACHER DRESS

OUTFIT: VINTAGE DRESS AND HEELS/REISS BELT
Got this dress from another antique shop in Beijing, at an extremely fair price and pair it with my school-teacher-like heels, one of my most frequent-wore dresses it is , the light fabric and classy print. Macau has been extremely hot and humid recently and since I have so many things going on right now at my hand,so I had to reduce the time for my photo shootings, but once I got to Turkey I hope that I could have more time to take photos and share with you guys.

RED

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TEE AND JEANS/DOONEY BOURKE BAG
Summer is never a season for red, in my opinion. Red is supposed to make you feel hot, and we don't really need that under this already hot and humid summer. However, when you choose your light fabric and light color for summer going-out, it's kinda boring to highlight your outfit with yet another light-color bag, so here I am, carrying this medium-sized red leather bag, it's much less heavier than other leather bags and yet adds some fun vibe to my outfit, which is  exactly what I believe in fashion: it's all about balance.

SARAR

OUTFIT: SARAR DRESS/NINE WEST HEELS
Sarar is one of my favourite Turkish brand for workwear, the cutting and simplicity are two most attractive features of this brand, I spotted this dress 3 years ago in Istanbul's Istinye park and was quite enchanted by its light blue color and back zip design, it's perfect for any formal occasions.  The small oil painting I was carrying was painted by me one year ago, I took the liberty of wanting to change it to a small clutch and just match it with my dress first, the colors look good together. And it has everything I want in a city, the financial center in HK, MOMA in the big apple, blue sky and colorful buildings. Coincidentally, while posting this outfit, I was told just two days ago that a project in Turkey is in need of my help so I will have to work there temporarily for four months. Of course I will keep blogging, it's just you might see different landscapes and backgrounds in my posts.:)

TERRACE OF MILITARY CLUB

OUTFIT:ZARA TOP/VINTAGE SHORTS/NINE WEST SANDALS
Another lovely place in Macau, this small terrace of the military club is yet another secret-garden sort of thing in Macau, last weekend I walked a bit to the back, which was very close to san Francisco garden, you can just sit there, feel the wind blowing, listening to some jazz and read your favourite column if the sun was not so bright, what's even better is that this place is only a few minutes away from where I live.

HM DRESS

OUTFIT: HM DRESS/VINTAGE SCARF/STEVE MADDEN SANDALS
As much as I look happy with the scarf in these photos, I was actually feeling so hot under such weather. Last Sunday I went out to find new spots like a typical tourist, big backpack and DSLR, and it kinda feels great to be frank. Because no one will think you are strange or whatever, not that I care really. So I went up hills and just 5 minutes away from the Sai Van lake, these beautiful light green churches appear, I was kinda lost in the color and exotic shapes of them, indeed felt like a tourist, and the choir was singing, the tourist taking photos, the birds flying, guess it's a much better way to spend your Sunday like this than sleeping till late afternoon:)

HYDRANGEA

OUTFIT: ZARA TOP/VINTAGE SHORTS AND SUNNIES/NINE WEST SANDALS
Hydrangea is definitely one of my favourite photo shooting friends, don't misunderstand that I only use it for photo shooting haha, after all flowers make me feel so fresh and happy, as if all the joyfulness in life could be conveyed in a bunch of beautiful flowers. They make you forget all ugly things in life and remind you even if life could be hard at times, eventually it's going to bloom. Ok, so much for flowers, the small yet dense petals of hydrangea gives off a rather vibrant and vivid vibe that is great for your living room or newly-purchased glass vase, while carrying them taking all these photos, I was constantly asked by strangers if they are fake, but they are not.Like this new pink spot where the photos were taken, they are real and pink! Many friends of mine who came to Macau for the first time always asked me the same question: Why many buildings are clad with bold colors like pink and light green? According to wiki it's because the lovely buildings inherited the obvious Portuguese architecture influence, which is so feminine, and you will get to see in my future posts. And of course I will visit Portugal one day to see if wiki is true:)

FATIGUES PRINT

OUTFIT:VINTAGE DRESS/NINE WEST SANDALS
Fatigues could be in and out of fashion at times, wouldn't say I am too much of a big fan,but trying new styles has never fail to give me inspirations. Got this fatigues print dress from one of the boutique shops from Beijing about three years ago and was surprised the person who designs it was bold enough to add the one shoulder design to this relatively cool or masculine dress base, however, what stops other people from buying is what encourages some people to buy. So will you try something like this too?

THE GIRL WITH A BASKET OF FRAGRANCE

OUTFIT: ZARA TOP/VINTAGE JEANS/ASOS SANDALS/VINTAGE BAG
I'm indeed such a big fan of MAD MEN, so if you are familiar with this TV drama, you 'd feel so familiar with my topic today, last Sunday when I hit the street florist in Rotunda de Carlos da Maia(sanzhandeng) and bought a bunch of purple roses, "a basket of kiss" was the first thing that came to my mind, while differently, I rephrased the line a little into"a basket of fragrance", because instead of wearing the bellejolie lipstick, I was carrying a basket of purple roses,I got so many inspirations from MAD MEN,the costumes, the witty lines, the way they live and so on.

ROSE ON BROWN

OUTFIT:VINTAGE DRESS/EXULL Q SANDALS/HM CLUTCH
It has certainly been a while since I wore this dress. Still, got it in Stanley, one of my favourite places in HK, from a local boutique shop, the print and the shape was what made my buy it, though it was difficult for me to describe the pattern of the print, it's neither water blend nor abstract, floral would be a bit stretch, anyone who knows how it should be named feel free to tell me:) And since it's bit shorter than my other dresses, I'd marry it with my favourite sandals this summer just to make the leg part look longer, and  my rose earrings succeeded in bringing a more feminine vibe to the outfit.

TORY BURCH TOTE

OUTFIT:ZARA TOP/VINTAGE JEANS/STEVE MADDEN SANDALS/TORY BURCH TOTE/MANGO NECKLACE
For me, Tory Burch and Michaeal Kors are two similar brands and yet so different. They have similar price, and, both of which have shops in Macau, which is great for me. However I got this Tory Burch tote in HK and it was my very first piece from this brand. Since I have so many blue dresses, this tote is so convenient to go with a lot of my dresses. Mixed it with my Steve Madden sandals just to make the whole outfit more daily instead of a pointed-toed Loubie.

MY CHOO LOVE

OUTFIT:ZARA SHIRT AND SKIRT/JIMMY CHOO HEELS/DOONEY & BOURKE BRIEFCASE
HONESTLY I am not a shoe addict , I don't care the brands of shoes as long as I look good in them or just simply like them. I have shoes of big prices range. While wandering in IFC last week with my friend, I was kinda lost in the shoe paradise, so many lovely Charlotte Olympia and Schutz and Brian Atwood etc, trying to decide between Louboutin and Jimmy Choo for a more classic piece, turns out this become my Choo love :) No need to say more because you will see me wear them a lot in my future posts because they just go well with everything in my wardrobe, isn't it what true love is? makes you feel good about everything?

CASUAL MONDRIAN

OUTFIT: KATE SPADE TOP/VINTAGE JEANS/NINE WEST SANDALS/H&M CLUTCH
As art of fashion and  painting(impressionism) are two things I spent most of my free time appreciating, it's difficult not to find their characteristics in common and this kate spade top, obviously inspired by some of the works by Mondrian, its bold color and big checkers, bold pieces like this never fail to inspire and please me.In order to make my the whole outfit bit casual like, unlike how I pair it before, I chose the vintage jeans to go with it and a pair of sandals of the similar color to put a full stop of this whole outfit.

SUMMER BRALET

OUTFIT: H&M BRALETTE/VINTAGE JEANS/EXULL Q SANDALS
I've been longing to have a bralette since I started this blog, honestly I never tried this trend before, as my work atmosphere is too serious for that, I have to find occasions to wear it. But then the other day I checked topshop in HK, turns out they have so many choices for bralette, however no floral pattern that appeals to me. Later i check the HM just opposite to topshop on queensroad and found this one, it satisfies my every imagination for bralette, the color, the fitting and its price!:) I wanted to pair it with my white skirt first, but somehow this vintage blue kind goes well with it too.

PURPLE LACE

OUTFIT: KAREN MILLEN DRESS/NINE WEST HEELS/VINTAGE EARRINGS
Much as I love to take photos outdoors because the sunlight and the nature are such a great background, sometimes it could be fun switching scenes for your photos. I see this outfit as feminine, elegant yet work-friendly, so why not shoot the photos indoor? Though the light was not as strong as the natural sunlight, but then you get this more gentle feel and avoid the hot sun outside, and I love the purple lace top part in the background of the white curtain,it's not always about color blocking, and it's not always about black, white and grey. It's about balance and a little bit of both.:)

ONE SHOULDER BLUE

OUTFIT DRESS: DRESS/ASOS HEELS
I got this elegant one shoulder from Kuala Lumpur's SURIA KLCC last year, I had many similar dresses like this, but what caught my attention was its color(big fan of blue when it comes to dresses) and unique one shoulder design, which adds a bit chic vibe to the whole formal feeling, and just plus a light cardigan or blazer you are ready to work. For me fashion should be attainable and practical, as one of my friends put: the prettiest looking shoes might be the most difficult to wear, it's true, but I try to balance all the time, it has to be formal and elegant enough to wear to work, but also casual and chic enough to kill the time outside of work. One secret is that a pair of great shoes will do the trick for us just fine.

VINTAGE SUIT

 OUTFIT: VINTAGE SUIT/NINE WEST SANDALS
Hey girls! I don't know if any of you like to wear your mum's or sister's clothes, I do. And while I was back home this May, I found this vintage treasure in my mum's wardrobe, I was so in love with its fabric and shape. Though it's bit short for me, because my mum is around 5"5, but besides that everything fits me so well, like a tailored suit. So I begged my mum and she gave me this vintage suit. It was bought by her about 10 or 12 years ago, but my lovely mum has kept it with care and it still looks so new:) I'm not as careful as her with clothes, but hopefully my future child could fit into this too haha:)

BRIGHT PINK

 OUTFIT:LK BENNETT DRESS/VINTAGE CARDIGAN/TORY BURCH SANDALS
Happy Tuesday everyone! I've had such a hectic time last week, I actually had to cut off my nap time to shoot all the photos because I have been assigned a lot of tasks at work and time has been quite limited. But managing all the tasks and get them done feels great! I had quite a lovely time this weekend though, met some really interesting friends, had the best Crepe in hk, bought a pair of classic Jimmy Choo:)And this bright pink color is exactly how I feel right now, motivated, happy and romantic,I was so amazed at the quantities and qualities of all these UK brands, REISS, LK BENNETT, ASOS, TED BAKER, THREE FLOOR, and some of my favourite pieces are all British brands, this bright pink dress for example, I actually went to times Warner center just to find their shop because they only sell shoes in HK Lane Crawford  And I picked a white cardigan to echo with my nail color, So do you like it?

CHECKERED TOP

OUTFIT: TAILORED TOP/VINTAGE JEANS/STEVE MADDEN SNEAKERS
Morning guys, hope you have a good weekend! If you follow my blog from the beginning, you'd realize the cloth and color of the top I am wearing in this post is so similar to the checkered print skirt in my first blog entry, and yes, you guessed right! The tank top was made from the rest of the cloth from the checkered skirt. The top, same as the skirt, is so light and versatile, you can pair it with jeans of all colors, your favourite white shorts or mini skirts, the list continues. And compared to other designer or brand tank tops, this one is so unique and the price is so fair, like you wouldn't believe! I guess it's the pleasure of being creative and making your own outfit! But of course I'm not great at sewing and all that stuff, so only serving as the creative director of this outfit,I outsource the sewing to my tailor, as usual:)

TUBE

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TUBE DRESS/NINE WEST HEELS
Tube dress is another must-have for summer. I found this in an antique shop in Beijing two years ago, usually for casual Friday I'd wear it with a blazer for work, then after happily finishing work I can easily go out partying or have a drink with my friends without the fuss of having to rush back to change my outfit. And the fabric of this dress is relatively light compared to other tube dresses I have. And the earrings I am wearing is actually combined with two similar ones, so that it looks longer and prettier:)

BALLERINA EARRINGS

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TOP AND SHORTS/STEVE MADDEN FLAT SANDALS/VINTAGE EARRINGS
Ballet, a beauty in its own form, expresses what cannot be put into words, a sophisticated form of art which requires a tranquil and peaceful heart to appreciate. So when I found this lovely lovely ballerina earrings, it reminds me of the beautiful ballet I was so lucky to enjoy in Beijing's NCPA and I was so drawn to its shape and pink color, and moreover it reminds me of my almost very first present from an old friend: a music box inside which the delicate ballerina dance to the classic FUR ELISE. It is not only an elegant fashion piece but also  a childhood reminder. I pair my earrings with this rose color off shoulder top, yes, I'm such a big fan of everything off shoulder:p, and I think they are from the same color family and complement each other.

STATEMENT DRESS

 OUTFIT: EP DRESS/SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SHOES/COACH SUNNIES/VINTAGE CLUTCH
Statement dress is something I'm never tired of. I bought this lovely nude lace dress right before my birthday this year. I think it's quite suitable for girls at my age, when we can enjoy the combination of being elegant and adorable at the same time with a small dose of sexiness. Not to mention the classic Salvatore mid heels, another my all time favorite piece, its height suits me so well and the color goes so harmoniously with my dress.

LIGHT SUMMER

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TOP AND DENIM SKIRT/STEVE MADDEN SANDALS/VINES JEWELS
Light color plus denim everything are quite good for summer, when you go out the light color makes you feel less hot,and the denim jeans or skirt help to balance the whole palette. They always makes the chic and cute combo. But this denim skirt has been a bit short for me. Usually the shorter the skirts are, the taller you look, that day I picked a quite high pair of sandals And It's so flattering yet comfy, you don't even feel the 4 inches wedge, and I can even dance in them:)

Monday, July 1, 2013

BLACK

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TOP AND SKIRT/NINE WEST SANDALS
Black is not my favourite color but strangely enough my most-wearable pieces are all black, my black off-shoulder top, my black blazer and my black heels. They'are just so versatile and help flatter any outfit you choose for any occasions  May it be the third date with the guy you met in the museum, or your night out with friends, or business meeting at work. If you followed my blog, I wore this checkered skirt in my very first post and I think it could go very well with a black off shoulder top, too.

I HEART NEW YORK

OUTFIT: I HEART NY TEE/VINTAGE SHORTS/STEVE MADDEN SNEAKERS/ VINTAGE SUNNIES
White on white is something so in if you finish your outfit with a statement pair of sneakers, which was what I did the other afternoon :) I got this top from JFK, New York is not my favourite US city honestly, I'm more a west coast girl haha, but this tee is indeed one of my favourite.I'm not really a big fan of summer tees, they are either boring or makes you look bigger than you actually are. However I guess I only bought this one because of the words on the tee, but it ends up becoming my favourite.

YELLOW BELT

OUTFIT: ESPRIT TOP/ZARA SKIRT/VINTAGE BELT & SANDALS/MICHAEL KORS WATCH/ COACH SUNNIES
Belt is definitely one of my must-haves in my wardrobe because it is not quite expensive but very versatile. I have many belts of different colors, some of them are bit expensive than the other, but mostly I wouldn't pay very much for belts, however it does not stop me from loving them. Usually for summer time you can pair your jeans with wider belts to emphasize your waist line, or just wrap around your skater dress to achieve a vintage look, the lighter the color, the younger you look, while the darker ones could be perfect for winter time. Belts with bold accessories have not appealed to me at all, I think it kinda steal the attention which could have been saved for your top or dress.

GREEN

OUTFIT:FOREVER 21 DRESS/NINE WEST SANDALS/VINTAGE NECKLACE
Green has never been my favourite color, but once in a while I'd try something I rarely wear, like this green dress I got in the forever 21 shop of union square in New York, I liked its peplum at first but then I think it is bit bulky around the waist, so I waited and waited until I bought my nine west sandals last week then I marry them immediately, I think the dark color kinda match each other, do you agree?

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

STATEMENT TOP

OUTFIT: KATE SPADE TOP/EP TROUSERS/NINE WEST SANDALS/LOUIS VUITTON BAG/RAY-BAN AVIATOR SUNNIES/MICHAEL KORS WATCH
Statement top is what I think every girl should have in their wardrobe. It can make your whole outfit shine, and help you pull off any style you want, either professional business attire when a pencil skirt is added, or a casual look when a pair of white shorts is included, or a chic effortless style when you wear it with skinny jeans, the list continues. Though statement top does not have to be expensive, but usually they are. But it's worthy of every penny you spent. I found this KATE SPADE CAROLINA TOP while I was shopping in four seasons Macau, its bold color caught my eyes immediately, and bold color is definitely a key for a statement top, I was trying out their lovely floral print Tatiana top too and happily found myself fit into size 4, but still I bought carolina top in the end, probably deeply in my mind the asymmetrical checkered print looks more artsy than the other one, and artsy is a very important element in my sense of beauty. So girls do you like this outfit?

OLD SHANGHAI STYLE

OUTFIT: CK DRESS/ASOS HEELS/VINTAGE HAT AND GLOVES
Old Shanghai style has been something I always wanted to try, but never found the right outfit or mood to do so. Then the other day I was again sorting out my wardrobe and found these pieces could very much be put into one outfit and create the Old Shanghai style. I'd say you will see very few Chinese girls nowadays dress this way, what they love or love to follow are Korean and Japanese style( meaning petite and cute and lace etc.) or US or Europe style( meaning black, white and grey etc.), which could be boring if you repeatedly wear like that. So I want to try something else, this cute beige hat brings out the antique Shanghai party time feel when what everyone did was just dancing and partying and enjoying themselves, as has been shown in some popular Chinese series, pretty much like the 1920s of Parisian artistic community( yup I'm a big fan of Midnight in Paris and Woody Allen the Genius), also the gloves, which was a gift from my mum, helps to deliver the vintage vibe. Truth be told, this could look like Betty Draper of Mad Men if I add a cat eye white sunnies from the 60s, but I haven't got any white sunnies, so here I am. Do you like this outfit?

ENJOY COCA COLA

OUTFIT: VINTAGE TOP AND SHORTS/STEVE MADDEN SNEAKERS
Much as I enjoy coca cola only when it's in a relationship with long island, I don't drink coke as much as my male peers do(now beer), but this crop tee with the chic black and white "enjoy coca cola" slogan on it was so great for a summer night outing with your friends in SOHO of HK, Village of Beijing or Hengshan road of Shanghai, also it's quite good for any pop concert or music festival like coachella etc. And I wore a pair of steve madden sneakers to make it even more sporty, thought it does not really feel like sneakers cause it has the high wedges inside the shoes. So Enjoy your coca cola, enjoy your day!

THE GIRL WITH AN ICECREAM

OUTFIT: VINTAGE CARDIGAN AND TOP/ZARA SKIRT/EP HEELS
This cute summer tee with the print of a girl eating ice-cream has reminded me of how much I love cute mickey mouse and minnie tees when I was a teenager, and snoopy, winnie the pooh, you name it. But then it can be difficult to wear in a professional workshpere, where everyone is conservatively in their business attire. So to solve this tiny problem,I add a light-colored cardigan to ward off the strong aircon in the office and the equally strong sunlight outside, then a similar color palette but darker blue pencil skirt which works wonderfully with the whole combination. Also these earrings kinda light the outfit by saying summer is officially on!
